So I recently attended free comic book day in Rochester, NH on Saturday and got to meet the famous Ed McGuinness who is famous for his work on batman, superman and the Hulk (I had him sign some hulk books). I proceeded to pick his brain about how he got into the industry and any tips he had for me. I also was able to talk to another very skilled comic artist who took a look at my sketchbook and gave me more pointers. Ed also signed a few books I had. (FRIGGIN COOL!)

By the way, prior to this I had been planning on applying for an internship to Marvel my senior year, so this was INCREDIBLY insightful for me : )

Also super cool about free comic book day is that I got... wait for it... FREE COMICS! like 50 of them! A few of which I had wanted to buy earlier and didn't : D

It was also fun to prance all over that unfamiliar town looking for the businesses which would give us the free books.

Oh and PS, If you ever go to Rochester go to the Chicken Roost for lunch and get the Rooster, #10. It's the best sandwich I've ever had.

GO SEE THE IRON MAN MOVIE!!!! It's the shit.
